Grown Up

Children

Neverending smiling faces

Annoying people with an endless stream of questions

Only tolerated for future obligations

Never seeing people's true expressions

A child having eyes that no one else could see

Knowing people's true emotions

Never giving it a though

Only seeing what was meant

When it became frequent

People's true feelings now began to show

They started to know

How people really felt

Their hidden sentiments shown through their body's declarations

They then became to know the unfamiliarness of the world

The things they soon wish to never have known

Their childlike persona

Now deteriorated

Only seeing harsh truth and lies

Wishing they had remained blind
