I AM
Location
I am a rainbow,
all my true colors have never faded.
I am a butterfly,
looking far and wide, spreading my wings, but very sly.
I am sixteen,
many rebellious moments caught in your eyes.
I am lavender,
Mellow with a hint of sadness.
I am a city girl,
With tall buildings, I am always surrounded.
I am a leaf,
Fallen through the years, stepped on and cracked.
I am never broken,
Love life, live it, and make it last.

This poem is so inspirational, especially the last two lines, because you present the idea that we grow and change but we have control over how successful we are.
