disease
Enigma in formation, grown from dirt and raised by trees
Discovery brought guilt which brought the child to his knees
An avalanche of blind confusion silences his pleas
Focused hate and loathing, black and blood are all he sees
His veins begin to boil at the thought of life in ease
A beginning and two paths exist, tormenting him in threes
His claustrophobic mind embeds inside a skull of fleas
This life enamors lack of substance to highest degrees
As interactions seem to him erratic as a sneeze
Desultory at best, existing fainter than a breeze
A disillusionment desensitized to all but freeze
A child killed his mind by never granting it reprise
Imagination constructing images that displease
A world of hell, a head of mold, and lungs that only wheeze
A bleeding eye, an open mouth in ascomycetes
A child should never keep within thoughts as real as these
A life alone is worth but under half a life which frees
For freedom lives to outlast all who exist to appease,
A life is meant to be controlled, to take control, and seize
Society controlled him by controlling his disease
