Money Is Not Everything (Sonnet)
Having money is something that I love.
The richest person in the room is always me.
I catch all of the money in my figurative glove.
I can purchase any item, no matter the fee.
The ladies love me for my money.
I have nice, fancy cars.
People treat me as sweet as honey.
My future is as bright as the stars.
But will the ladies be there when the money goes away?
Without money, I have nothing at all.
No one would comfort me as darkness haunts my day.
My life plummeted to the ground, just as the leaves do in the fall.
Money is not required to live a happy life.
Focus on the important things like raising children and having a beautiful wife.
