Paradise

What if we could fade into the night,
What if we could fly to where our hearts belong?

I would fly and fly,
Until my heart made me stop.

I would descend upon smiles,
Upon laughter and cheer,
I would breathe without a care.

I could smile and laugh freely,
And I wouldn't let go of anything, anywhere.

Soft snowflakes and raindrops would tickle my face,
Not a cloud in the sky to hold the sunshine hostage.

There my heart would truly be free,
The gates of heaven would be unlocked,
MY HEART’S PARADISE!
