Amoeba

We are all amoebas
Tiny
And, in the grand scheme of things
Worthless
We are all blind
Arms outstretched
Steady, ready to feel
We are all amoebas
Amoebas passing in the night
No one can see us
No one wants to see us
Dust on black velvet
We are all amoebas
Amoebas
Night dwelling amoebas
Amoebas passing in the night
