Colossians 2:20
20 If you have died with Christ to the elemental spirits of the world,
why do you submit to them as though you lived in the world?
Las Vegas
If I never see another day in some of the places I’ve travelled
If I never go there again it would not make a difference
What is there left to say? There’s nothing there to marvel …
It was all a senseless pain, a waste of time, a hindrance?
What gives a place some value? What makes a person like it?
Is it not the people and the sphere they create?
Is it not that why cities like Paris are surely dying?
Is this not where sin rules as it seems boxed up in a crate?
Many travel places to escape from self
Parts of what they dislike always seems to travel with them
Spoiling life for others expanding their ugly spell
As their creepiness grows until all appear like them
