No news is ...

John 1:1-3

The Prologue to the Gospel

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God.

The Word was with God in the beginning. 3 All things were created by Him,

and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created.

“No news is good news” ... surely an illusion

Hidden reality is not always a blessing

To discover later just postpones a conclusion

being presented then as an oft repeated lesson

“If never finding out” ... could one be affected?

Could one be influenced without knowing the source?

Is our “crying out” ... often just facts neglected

as we battle circumstance throwing us off course?

The ripple effect of the Fall is still hitting our shore

Impossible to escape this disaster of yesterday

It was after all ... the closing of God’s Door

that brought the curse to put sinfulness in place

Is it not amazing that the Door became a person?

Is it not absurd that He opens to God’s heart?

Is it not crazy that when we’re really hurting

and as we cry out to Jesus ... the door falls apart?

The Gateway to Heaven ... the Door and the Cross

The Ark of the Covenant ... and the Mercy Seat

All then forgiven cleansed by Water and Blood

Drawn into Truth ... resurrected there indeed
