Dear Langauge

Dear Language,

But how could I start off with a greeting as if we've ever said goodbye? Though the force of you may not pass through my lungs, travel upwards past my heart, roar through my throat, dancing off my tongue I am always with you as you are with I. A, E, I owe you much gratitude and appreciation for the many ways I can express myself through and through. You play upon me like a festive sprite, meandering between pronunciation and provocation of a particular point of prose, practically persuading me to practice, practice my placement and punctuation. You give me the ability and desire to compare two like things, such as a simile is like a metaphor, but a metaphor is a simile with persistence. You push me to reach out to those unknown, to discover and explore. You invite me in with a promise of communication between me and whoever may be listening, but leave me with a greater extent of understanding, as the more of you I give the more I receive. Language, you have known me throughout time, and as we grow together, we become more attached to one another, yes it is so that we are destined. Although I may share you with anyone that comes and goes, just know that what we have between us is and always will be unique, something you already know, as it is you that has helped me write this very letter. I hope you receive it well. Well, satisfactory, nicely, lovely, suitably, well. But you already knew that

With everlasting love and adoration,

Jay
