Ecclesiastes 11:10 

10 Banish emotional stress from your mind.
and put away pain from your body;
for youth and the prime of life are fleeting

 

Emotion

 

Spiritual principles are sharply defined ... right and wrong precise in standard.

Clear, cloudy, happy and depressed ... should be understood in their perspective.

If God’s word agrees with feeling ... emotional people recognize its mandate

and if the Word does not they’ll reflect it ... and makes the principle ineffective.

 

In a great emotional upheaval ... our mind becomes undependable

and is easily affected then ... by waves of constant feelings.

Emotion’s work in full swing right then ... is quickly recommendable

until it drains itself in ways ... through mental wheeling-dealing.

 

Emotion is fully natural  ... it has often itself at steak

little to do with God and life ... and that is clearly seen.

Security in Salvation is ... to have a break from emotion

and from that issue called: ... “It should have been”.

 

Means of emotion or some of them ... we know very well

tears and mournful faces ... cries and other devices.

If we could accept that ... no life resides in emotion’s spell

we would not try to secure ... Salvation in emotional slices.

 

Emotion cannot bring light ... to a darkened spirit

or through the impulses of it ... bring regeneration.

Sorrow, shame, fear or joy ... admiration, interest and pity

cannot pave the way to truth ... even in concentrated aspiration.

 

Man can experience these things and still be spiritually dead.

In this world of “ours” ... this cannot be accepted.

What I feel is what I am ... is very often said

and that my friend is nonsense ... and totally corrupted.
