Fragile
Psalm 39:5
5 Look, you make my days short-lived,
and my life span is nothing from your perspective.
Surely all people, even those who seem secure, are nothing but vapor.
Fragile
How much can I stand when discomfort hits my frame
and when pain strikes like lightning?
How fragile we are when ... sickness calls our name
and there is no strength for fighting?
Life is called a vapor … courage a mighty tower
Medicine a gift of God ... Who understands our frailty
When death knocks at our door ... and I a wilted flower
that somewhere forgot ... to prepare for destiny
A dream is not reality … at least that’s what I’ve been told
It may be a vision at times … showing some things to come
Am I just a fatality … that was somewhere oversold
On the outside appeared fine … but inside was half-done?
