DANGEROUS WEATHER ADVISORY

Missouri. Midwestern-Southern hybird state.

The clouds dance in a

  spiraling kind of fashion.

Thunder can be heard and lightning can be seen in the sky.

The sirens will inevitably blare.

All the kids hide in a closet-

  a girl and cousins

  visiting from Tennessee

(after they were almost killed by their mom's boyfriend).

Two adults sisters huddle in fear while

watching the news about the weather.

They've put their kids in a walk-in closet.

Tornado warnings are screamed from the TV.

The sisters remember being scared together

  when they were little girls

  and their Momma died.

They'd struggle endlessly

and prayed their children

  wouldn't have to.
