Easy To Question

They say “Why stay silent with such beauty you speak?”,

And yet I can not help but laugh in response,

What beauty you see is but a mirror of lies,

A broken solution to the worlds imagination,

They say “What makes you sad when there’s so much to see?”,

Again I must laugh for I must truly be blind

For all that is seen is still in the dark,

All the bad in the world a shadow still hides.

They say “Why do laugh for every response?”,

And now I stay silent reviewing their eyes

Prophase I’m not the one who is blind

Gently I chuckle and take a breath

It’s time for me to say what I truly detest.

“You see a caged mind makes for a useless existence,

your words may have beauty but who truly listens,

A running mouth with no answers gives stupidity a home,

Yet you continue to talk like your aware of the problem,

Priorities of fools are the pleasures of the wise,

My condolences to you since you are a fool in disguise,

and finally to be honest I’m easy to question,

Silent for most but don’t quiet doubt my intentions,

I watch and I listen so that I see what I face,

And all that I’ve seen is a child in an adults place,

For you have words without meaning yet enough for a novel,

Your intelligence has lessened mine by far,

So I laugh to amuse you and silence myself,

Because to be honest your truly a joke,

A face in the crowd no one really remembers,

I hope that was simple for you to see,

When it comes to intelligence your nothing compared to me.”
