Overprotective Parents' Children

You tell me

how to feel

how to dress

what to eat

what my concept

Should or shouldn't be about the world

Smothered by protection and love

I can only see the world

as chaos and corrupt

Because all I know

are what my parents had told me

What the world was like

Within four walls and a light bulb

Now how am I suppose to see the world?

I'm all on my own

and I haven't seen much at all

This poem is about:
Me
My family
Our world
