The blessing of children
Psalm 127:4-5
4 Children born to a young man
are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.
5 How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!
He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.
Children
Here now is a treasure by so many discarded
Here life itself is given into a personal trust
Not for us to keep but in temporal being rewarded
To bring us happiness where life it self’s a must
How can we raise them unless the Giver supplies the core?
Where can we draw strength unless placed in our heart?
So why in many cases it seems a simple call to want more?
As we go sluggishly through life in proposing self too smart
In our search for comfort and the call of convenience
We devise many ways to call children an obstruction
With majority’s support we call children an experience
That we seem to raise as such throughout destination
