We never fully satisfy it

Thoughts of self compassion make it cringe

Often it deceives

Faultfinding limits our potential

Cuts off love and belonging in life

Highly worth our acknowledgement and chase

-Thoroughgoing love.

It calls us by name, proclaims value

Despite the shortcomings, we're treasured

Don't conform-stay true

People hustle for it, though own it
