38663
38663 is the town where I learned to be
It’s the town where I learned to climb a tree and scrape my knees
I made life-long friends and stayed in playpens
and slide down slides yelling “Weeeeee!”
As I got a little older,
38663 showed me things a little bolder.
So I climbed on roofs
Convinced myself I was bulletproof
All in 38663
Sunday afternoons spent browsing around the square
Crying because sometimes life doesn’t seem fair
This little town taught me all I need to know
And sure, it help me a lot to grow
I broke hearts and got mine broken
Gentle words weren’t always spoken
But all is fair in love and war
And in 38663 I never felt tore
More time has passed and I’ve matured
I’ll miss this place more than I thought I would
Thankful and grateful Ill forever be
To 38663- the town that taught me to pray on my knees.
