Smiling

Wed, 10/19/2016 - 20:57 -- AshleyL

Curving my lips revealing my teeth brings goodness and warmth into me
Filled with the sound of f having a good time
Redness blushing over my round cheeks
Glasses lifted up with the force of happiness
That's what makes me feel good inside
Friends and family exchanging smiles and laughs
Bending forward to hold in the explosion of laughter
The good old slap to knee movement
Expressing joy and warmth wraps me around as if it were a cold night
The security of joy protects me from the blackness of darkness
Smiling is a contagious action that I have been infected with
There's no need for a cure since it's only responsive with it's own humor
No need for a vaccination since I enjoy living with it and hope to die right next to it
