A boy, shy and reserved,
neither liked by anyone nor loved.
An orphan by birth he was,
Eyes depicted helplessness, loneliness was the cause.

After collecting a plenty of pennies while growing up,
He made a friend, he bought a pup.
"HOPE", the name given to the friend,
The boy's love for him could never end.

Now his life had a HOPE and was no longer vain,
He can now share his anxiety and deep pain.
For the boy, the dog was a real treasure,
Spending time with him always gave immense pleasure.

No one will invent and no one ever did,
A happier pair than that dog and the kid.
Remember, God has a plan for everyone,
God says, "just wait for the right time, son".
