Dear Daniel

To my dear sweet Daniel, your face is like

An olive garden, chiseled and defined.

Your broad strong back, dimpled and eyes that strike.

The strings of my heart cannot be confined.

Your eyes are like dark chocolate that cease

To melt even though your soul burns within.

My heart flutters to every frown and crease.

No flaw or imperfection on your skin.

Oh my dear Daniel! You are so perfect!

Of French descent and royal bloodline,

It's a mystery no one ever suspects

Whether you are not human but divine.

But alas! My love, our bond does not bind!

You are only a figment of my mind!
