Fighting Against Failure

I AM A fighter.

Walk towards the ring as fresh and ready to go as a microwaved Hot Pocket.

Six States inhabited.

New York. Michigan. Illinois. New Jersey. Kansas. And now Massachusetts.

Put on your gloves and enter the ring.

Three High Schools down.

Holmdel High. Olathe Northwest High. And now Danvers High.

See your opponent.

One year to college.

Scholarships. Visits. Applications. And now decisions.

Take a deep breath, but don't show weakness.

Seventen years.

How many left? What if I don't succeed? What if I already have?

The bell rings.

Zero regrets.

Never. Stop. Fighting.
