Slowly you kill yourself,
turning into something else.
I can't save you.
I never could.
I laugh bitterly, knowing there's nothing I can do.

I watch as you shred others
into bits of papery flesh.
I turn away as I hear your roars.
They slowly fade away.
There is nothing.

Then my body burn with red hot heat.
My torso spasms,
growing slowly,
inch by inch.
Bones are cracking
as my body twists.
My vocal chords stretch and your
voice leaves my mouth.
My body contorts into a familiar shape.
The cycle continues, as I become you.
The monster that I always knew.
