A cage of Life for the broken Winged

So they thought she was made of soft plastic
Broken heart thrown in a doll
Hair and nails put on it

She had a mouth but her mind stayed inside
She could not speak, move, or truly smile
It was forced upon her face
Such torture as a child
Mom and dad made and left the poor girl lying
Now they're out without a doubt, not a thought of crying

No shield, no light, no guidance

She's all alone or so she thought she would surely die there
Until this light of love and fight told her it's okay to cry at night
She said she had no home or life and she could never be a wife
Tears that never seem to fall
Movement she couldn't control at all
Who was to hear her tiny scream
When smothered by her own insecurity
Forced to do forced to say
But she never wanted to be that way
The winters that iced her heart
The summers that burned her feet
How could it be that you were the one to save her
The one to set her free of all of her burdened care
This new light of joy in her eyes
Someone that use to make her feel alive

For this warm lie didn't last
Just a dream quick to pass
Soon she was awaken in the same rain she fell asleep in
With the same pain of never being heard the fear of never being loved
The rainbow is back to grey
Everything is back to normal back to reality
Here everyone except her is always happy
Ignoring the shadows and her sad prolonged helpless plea
