The Handsome Planet

A man may have a solid build.

Perhaps his hair’s softer than fleece.

Thick arms might lift a girl with ease.

Maybe his eyes with warmth are filled.

Some men stand with a solid stance.

Some have beards completing their face.

There’s clear smooth skin in every race.

There’s men with great skill in some dance.

But no strength rivals the mountains,

No eye’s warmth compares to the sun,

No beard can, like a forest, stun,

No man dances as can the rains.

Earth is handsome beyond compare;

No man could hope to be so fair.
