Mirrors

Another crack

Another crevice

Snakes along the mirror's surface.

It was only one time,

Never again, I swear,

Still, they emerge.

All they see is imperfection

Distorting my reflection.

Unwilling to move

A beast is viewed.

O, why don't they move

To see the real who?

From the right angle

There is the true me

I am flawless!

Frailities flee.

Defects disappear.

I always have been, the true me.
