Some smile to laugh

Others frown to cry

But I am different the enigma the outsider 

I smile to cover the cries

I laugh to hide the pain

I do not want to cry

But my life is full of pain

Everyday is a battlefield

But I keep my walls up

No one has seen

The other side of me

No one will ever 

Get inside my head

I lost my identity

A long time ago

After losing someone

Who I cared for

They left me alone

Without love nor a home

They set me screaming

Into the storm

And while you see me here today

My mind and dreams are far away

Thinking of the day 

That I wish I could I back to

Maybe one day

If I get that far

I'll show everyone

Who I really am
