The Delicacy of the Mask
Location
Thoughts as thick as caramel dripping from sugar stained lips.
Cascading down a path of ice cream doubts. Hesitation-
Impeading a great avalanche of expression.
See her gossamer thread surround her physique,
Enveloped in a coat of many-colored cotton.
Jawbreakers cannot bruise her within the cloth she has weaved,
Underneath the world is dense, unlike the disjointed glaze of the outside.
She is a foreign object, influenced by the culture of the country.
If you look close enough, past the cage of stone and wood you might find her.
Witholding, waiting, wandering.
