You’ll Always Be My Hero

When my dad was a kid he had a diagnosis
to him this was no joke
he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis
this is nothing we can revoke
Theres not really a cure
the steroids he has to take always reassure
him walking in the future is not a promise
and all that brings is darkness
To me he deserves to have a second chance
its not something he asked for
its something that was inherited
theres nothing he can do but enjoy his days now
I just wanna know why my dad
i try to always make him glad
and hardly try to make him mad or sad
no matter what i’ll always be a daddies girl.
