Let me enter this world to love

Let me become strong and wise

Let me sit outside and play

Let me spend time with my family

Let me hang out with my friends

Let me be a child and grow up

Let me laugh, cry, and smile

Let me make decisions and make mistakes

Let me walk down the street in peace

Let me go to school and graduate

Let me go to college and become successful

Let me go to work and make my own money

Let me create my own family to provide for

Let me endure what life has to offer

Let me watch my children grow up

Let me support them through ups and downs

Let me live and not gun me down

I have a purpose to live for, as well as you do
