The Universe Laced with Comfort

I tossed and turned.

I begged for a peaceful night .

I begged for the ghouls to take flight,

out of my mind.

I tossed and turned than thought,

"There is no hope.

I'll never get better

and I'll always be alone."

I tossed and turned than saw

the moon shining through my window,

illuminating like a lighthouse,

with it's yellow crescent light bulb.

I laid there and gazed

at stars flickering,

like candle lite flames,

suspended in the dark vastness of space.

I laid there than thought,

"I truly am small

and so are my problems.

I'll be okay."

I sit here now and recall that moment.

the night

the night sky became my memento

of how I came to observed the universe

laced with comfort.
