Empty Bottles

It's another night, lonely and stranded
Keeping it all inside like I'm this bottle
Try to ease the memory, forget a little bit
So I go on and take another swallow

Searching the wrong empty bottles for some answers
Looking for you in all the wrong places
Is it bad that I still see you in my sleep?
It is bad that I can see you in other faces?

Everybody says they're tired of hearing about you
Well, my mind feels the same way everyday
They're the lucky ones cause they can escape it
I try to go back, but I've never been the same

I hear about how you're doing
So I try to spin some lies
Let you know that I'm okay
In case you even mind

But I'm broken and I'm bruising
All over the inside
You left an empty bottle
Nothing, completely dry
