Uvula

Crazy talk, they say
Day after day I
wallow in the unfairness of their words
What do you know,
What do
you know?

Uvula of the sky,
Like God's defeated eye
watching the men below
What do they know

Man with a cello
and hands of flame,
Never stops to say hello
he trembles again.
He hears the quake of his heart
And the thickness of the string
No sound but his fears
What does he hear

Alone I construct
an idea now struck
by the weight of how I say,
What did you throw away?
