Bored Game
I’ve met some of the closest people in my life through board games.
It sounds corny and weird, I know.
But board games bring people together in a way that is magical and wonderful.
They transform your living room into a place of mysticism.
They tear down walls and open people up and make you feel like you can conquer the world together.
It is my dream to one day create a board game company.
To put my ideas to life.
To create adventures for lifelong friends or blossoming relationships.
To show a child that they don’t need a computer or a TV to have fun.
To bring a shy kid out of his shell.
To educate and strengthen the minds of the young.
To make the old feel young again.
There is something about a board game that makes me feel a great joy from the deepest part of my inner being and I want nothing more than to share that joy with every single person.
I want people to understand what it feels like to step out of the daily grind and enter a world beyond the harsh reality of life.
To know that imagination is important.
To understand that a tight-knit community is crucial.
Board games can build families. They can build communities. They can build friendships.
Believe me, I know. It happened to me.
