Thank You

Dear mom,
Thank you for your guidance
Thank you for your smiles
I am sorry for my defiance
But why won’t you let me go 1000 miles?

Oh dear mom,
Thank you for helping me see
Thank you for helping me try
I am sorry for losing my key
But why won’t you let it go by?

Sweet mother,
Thank you for never having a doubt
Thank you for being uplifting
I am sorry for making you shout
But why won’t you stop pretending?

Mama,
Thank you for understanding
Thank you for my comfort
I am sorry if you are suffering
But why won’t you divert

Really mom,
Thank you for your love
Thank you for your heart
I am sorry if I shove
But why won’t you just start?

Dear mom,
Thank you for your guidance
Thank you for your smiles
I am sorry for my defiance
But why won’t you let me go 1000 miles?
