What We Forget To Remember

Location

What we forget to remember

Is that all things are here

Yet we live in the past

In search for a seer

We look for an answer

Day in, day out

We walk around in trance

With a frown stuck to our mouths

Years we spend looking

At every nook and every corner

Tears never ending

As the days become shorter

We look to the future

Where the sun seems much brighter

Yet when we get what we want

Our desire is never lighter

We search without rest

As if pressured with a test

Now STOP

...

And don't forget to remember

That the past and the future

Are figments of your mind

In a vicious cycle of design

What we forget to remember

Is that all we have is the present
