The Mourners' Bench

Welcome to the Mourners' Bench

Where I can not say no

A place for all the burdened minds

And broken hearts to go

Gather on the sidewalk

When you can no longer stand

Come to me and cry

On your knees with folded hands

This is where I spend my time

Waiting for your prayer

I'll be here with open arms

When life seems unfair

Take my outstretched hand

Let me hold you while you weep

I can stop your pain

If you just have faith in me

So gather at the Mourners' Bench

I don't need a throne

Only this to let you know

You are not alone
