Senior Year

Senior Year,

Oh how I cheer!

Wasn't it supposed to be easy?

The classes were supposed to be breezy!

Oh how I was in denial,

when I thought I passed that final.

Shouldn't of been on my phone all night,

It is causing my grades to be such a fright.

The applications are quite tiring,

I wonder if McDonalds is hiring.

Praying that I get into the school of my dreams,

or I'll probably bust in the seams!

Too nervous to talk to my senior crush,

he makes my heart feel like mush!

Wish he was single

because I'm ready to mingle.

Senior week is beeing planned,

I can't wait to get my feet in the sand!

Thank God for my good friends.

With them, the fun just never ends!

Always going to remember my lacrosse team

And how we played to the extreme.

All the memories held within my phone,

you can't even break with just a stone.

Oh how this year went by so fast,

It was such a blast!

I can't believe today is the day,

the day we all say hurray.

We all sit together one last time,

and remember how six months ago we experienced the climb.

All our eyes are filled with tears,

knowing this is the last time we will see all our peers.

We will throw our caps in the air,

and give our school once last glare.

Oh Senior Year,

this was my fear.

The time went by

like a blink of an eye.

Thank you for everything,

And all the memories that you bring.
