My crown bears

the deep thorns

of regret.

burn dark holes

in my mind

where no one

treads lightly

or remains.

The music

in my chest

a boom box

of the soul,

my muse as

the voices

of artists

speak to me.

I love you

my sparkler,

a fun mess

of laughter

and lyrics

that tell us

how true love

is not true

without burns.
