Roses Are red

Violets are blue

I love what I know about you

But I want to know more

Than just trivial things

I want to know the things that make your heart sing

I want to know how to catch your eye

And not just be one of the guys

...And girls who hang out with you

I want to get to know you better

To see how we would be together.

I'm not asking you to make me your one and only forever

Just experiment and see if we can whether whatever...

Comes our way and stick through it all

I want to know if you'll catch me if I fall

I need to know if we are compatible before I ask you to be mine

Because if I like what I see and find as we get to know each other

Then trust me in time I will ask you to be mine

So relax for now

You don't have to make any hard decisions

But I would like to get to know more about you

For future years to come

And hopefully no tears will run.

Because roses are red

And violets are blue

I have a feeling I will love everything about you
