This morning of July 9, 2016 I woke up to find social media saying goodbye to our “Five blue blooded brother”
When my parents first came to America,They thought it would unite their broken states of mind  
The white man came and took over the land Kicking out the originators, the true creators
A land invaded by Europeans Soil soaked with the blood of the Natives and Slaves
The Supreme Court has ruled that it is legal to discriminate against people with dreadlocs
From a young age mom taught me that the only race in this planet was the human race (positive, factual).She looked me in the eyes and sai
We fall and stand true To the light in one another From the ashes we shall inspire
Where did the time go? The time when life was simple. The time when time moved slow.
