A beacon to cut Emissions

Location

In a world warming, change is our decree,
For carbon's grip, we must set free.
Actions we take, the path to renew,
Before it's too late, let this wisdom accrue.

To cut emissions, let's choose with care,
Car-free living, or electric to bear,
Cars, once polluters, their smoke held disdain,
Cleaner air to breathe, less sickness and pain.

Fewer flights, our footprint does decrease,
For skies to calm and wildlife find peace,
Climate change's wrath we must surely quell,
With choices that limit our jet-set farewell.

Renewable power, the future's bright gleam,
From fossil fuels, we must break free,
Melting ice caps, seas reaching higher,
Clean energy's embrace, a world to aspire.

Insulate homes, let heat pumps embrace,
Reducing the energy we need to chase,
Less greenhouse effect, the temperature's stead,
A planet's defense, with wisdom we thread.

A vegan path, the Earth we protect,
From carbon's toll, we disconnect,
Deforestation halted, methane's grasp,
A sustainable diet, a future to clasp.

Cookstoves improved, in lands afar,
Where wood and dung emit from the jar,
Less carbon, less toxin, in the air we respire,
A cleaner, greener world, where all can aspire.

These are the ways to lower our score,
To combat the changes we can't ignore,
More actions await, solutions to glean,
A low-carbon world, let it be our dream.

Each act, a step, together we stand,
In protecting our planet, hand in hand,
Duty-bound and with purpose in our role,
For a better world, our ultimate goal.
