Poems about Animals
With bright yellow eyes
and shiny orange skin,
they live near the water
they love to go in.
.
Gull, flying freely;...
dipping her wing,
for free tasty morsels,
she'll always sing.
.
There's a seal on the jetty;
keeping watch on that fin,
but once that shark leaves
she's jumping right in.
At the extreme top branch
up above
.
waiting to launch
with a shove
.
to talon its prey
A patient feline;
known for keen sight
sitting, camouflaged,
waiting to pounce: at twilight.
.
Climbing and balance;
and head butting too,
frolicking playful,
at your petting zoo.
.
I respect the Animal Kingdom, most live in zoo's. They reflect the creatures within me, within you.
(Note: This is not a picture of my cat. It's a picture of a cat that looks very similar.)
