One of these daysSomeone is going to come alongand break your heart darling, leaving you breathless on the curbas your heart shatters into a million pieces. But what happens nextdefines you as a person.
I see you’re once full of life face, Now pale and lifeless come through the door. I am surrounded by people. But all I see are your eyes.
If a heart breaks and you're not around to hear it because you're too busy trying to calm your rapid breathing and stop your mascara from smudging, Does it make a sound? It must, I think. The question then becomes:
It only takes a moment One, simple, touch That rips us apart, Then brings us close, Offering our bodies to the flames It comes unexpected Colliding in a haze of heat A mutual desire
