Do you ever get that feeling when the world a bit too much?when you feel like you are drowning, but you don't act like such.you pretend that you're alright, that everything is fine,
All my life I have hid behind a smile
I laugh and smirk and smile when on the inside I am slowly dying
I look back on my life and feel nothing, but regret
Plaster my smile
Grin at strangers
Issues are masked
Conceal the sadness
Hide the tears
Smile until aches
Must be strong
Finish the act
Fake the happiness
If you look deep in my eyes
You could find out about me
I never express it
Unless it's in poetry
Shit happens I tell myself and move on
That basically sums up my life
It could always get worse so don't get yourself down
Life is a blessing
Every time something bad happens
I don't let it bother me
