The person who inspired me is Ernest Gaines because he opened my eyes with his book, A Lesson Before Dying. I wrote a "raw" but "real" poem that correpsonds 
Pen and a paper forces words to come strong.  You wanted elevation now I'm forced to screen law.  Comin’ in like a sheep in disguise. To aid in the ignorance of my demise.  To those I idolize. 
I'll start the story off with, "There once was a man."  Actually that's not true.  There once was a boy of who's time to become a man was over due.  He met a girl.  Yes a real girl, not of age to be a woman.
everybody is looking for LOVE but we wind up with PAIN it's not peaceful like a DOVE It's more like a thunderstorm mixed with hail and RAIN
