Stay up all night Can’t handle tomorrow  Rather dance in the dark until my legs are weak and my head is spinning I’ll say I put up a fight
Scratching Clawing frantically Wildly raking with my fingers, Trying to hold on To something you can't see Or taste or touch But feel Deep within you When you finally find home

How am I supposed to sleep  when my brain will not shut up? How am I supposed to shut it up  when I don't even know what it is thinking? So tell me anxiety what it is that you say,
I lie Restless Surrounded by a pitch black world of bird cries that squeak and creak through these paper thin walls. Sweat coats the inside of my thighs,
And that day I went to bed but I never slept because I could never sleep without the part of me you kept

I am a river working hard always moving changing everything around me, while accepting change, myself. Sometimes I am calm sometimes I am restless. No matter, for I am a river.
The clock.  In the day you may not hear it. But in the night let this be known. Any time you may be stuck awake, It may seem the sound has grown.

As I'm laying here  in my bed, cherry blossoms bursting  in my brain, I scratch an itch between the blue lines. 
...restless days fold into restless nights... I reset my mind to unwind. counting sheep seldom works for me. recalling our memories, my personal bedtime lullabies, Forever seems to do the trick.
