We lingered for a while at the doorway.
I kissed her lips before I opened the front door.
And I felt her tenderness as never before.
Her embrace was as warm as her love.

hospital bed
frightened like never before
listening to the doctor
tell a nine year old girl that she had
They say we should stop meeting like this. In the bright light of your face amongst the beautiful stars. Your glowing smile puts me truly at ease and just calms my body completely. They say it’s wrong, that I shouldn’t be doing this.
