in the shade
when the hope of past things fade
forget the past
forget the pain
when all is lost, it's not you, you try to save
it's brothers,friends, sisters,family
"Watch from a distance
As the girl he loves caved
Picks up her head
As she tried to be brave
Tears cried alone
He knew he could save
Her eyes held an anguish
Was it too late?
