It doesn't belong or pertain to me
These walls say the last name of some other child
I feel alone, I am alone
The tones in the conversation never change
I am magnetic. I am not just Rachel. Putting my faith in a power greater than anyone. Having courage and being kind. Giving rather than receiving. I am magnetic. Writing songs about my life experiences.
It's said that our past define us
But I disagree.
I am not the scars that are shown on my skin.
I am not the hurt that I've endured.
I am not that girl that boy hurt a while ago.
I am island rhapsody.
I am the lithe frolicking of a gypsy.
I am sunday brunch.
I am the perfect pair of sunglasses.
I am second place.
I am love's first sorrow.
I am daddy's girl.
