(Verse 1)
Get up on time
Spend every dime
On bus fare to get to work
Got a hole in your pocket and now you're ten cents short
And the bus driver is being a jerk
(Verse 1)
Doesn't get along with others
Doesn't follow the rules
She's too slow at everything she does
Another letter sent home from school
You'd better have a talk with her about her bad ways
(Verse 1)
The water was warm in the water bed
You were standing in the doorway of my room
When I looked at you and said
"Come and sail on with me, on a voyage of love"
(Verse 1)
You were from Vermont
I was from Michigan
I said "My state is known for it's Great Lakes"
You turned around with a sheepish grin and said "Mine's known for Maple syrup trees and pancakes"
(Verse 1)
Sitting in her room, just longing to be free
But the evil side of her mind, will not let her be
Years of torture and years of pain
Created the monster within her brain
And it won't leave
I was raised to keep my issues bottled
I live with a family where communication is a problem
Introverted pacifist, avoiding all confrontation
When I try to speak, I stutter, failing all articulation
